Many nations around the world have rolled up their sleeves to contain the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic impact. The extent of these efforts is illustrated by the Mckinsey Global Survey July review.


Especially in North America and emerging markets, managers have started to feel more desperate about their countries’ economies since last month, and more cautious about recovery scenarios compared to other countries. Expectations from recovery scenarios point to a growing sense of caution and uncertainty. Among all the McKinsey Global surveys conducted in 2020, only in this month’s survey, participants anticipate that their institutions’ income levels will increase.
